Since 1994, The St. Louis Gateway Classic Sports Foundation (SLGCSF) has operated as a non-profit 501 (C) 3 organization created by a group of civic and community leaders and adhering to the mission statement:

 

To provide financial support to our community by way of scholarships and sports programs. The Gateway Classic events will create an atmosphere of FAMILY values based on integrity, honesty, faith and teamwork. We want to show the youth of our community that someone does care about them and that there is a positive alternative to any negative situation.

 

The SLGCSF is a unique, multi-faceted organization that hosts a wide range of programs and special events year round for St. Louis and Metro East residents of all ages. None of this would be possible without the support of our Corporate Sponsors.

 

Some programs are designed to raise funds for our scholarship programs, charitable giving, and the operation of the Foundation while others are free events purposed toward giving recognition to those who have earned it by making significant contributions in the community. In addition, SLGCSF participates in charitable giving throughout the year to support the community and other local agencies and organizations.
