For 20 years, the St. Louis Gateway Classic Sports Foundation (SLGCSF), a non-profit 501 (C) 3 organization, has lived up to mission seeded in 1994 by the group of civic and community leaders who founded the agency. As our mission statement underscores, we diligently work to provide financial support and programs structured to assist our community development. Just as important, Gateway Classic events promote an atmosphere of family values based on integrity, honestly, faith and teamwork. Our goal is to impress upon our youth that the community does indeed care about them and their future. This foundation stands as a resource in this community that offers our youth positive alternatives to any negative situation they face.

The SLGCSF is self-sustaining with support generated by fundraisers and corporate partners to generate funds for education, training and charity. The Foundation is a unique, multi-faceted organization that hosts a wide range of programs and special events year round for St. Louis and Metro East residents of all ages. Some programs are designed to raise funds for our scholarship programs, charitable giving and the operation of the Foundation while others are free events puposed toward giving recognition to those who earned it by making significant contributions in the community. In addition, the SLGCSF participates in charitable giving throughout the year to support the community and other local agencies and organizations.
